Cabbage Ramen Noodle Salad


one small head cabbage, shredded
one package oriental-flavored ramen noodles (uncooked and broken into pieces)

1/3 cup toasted almonds (if available)

Salad Dressing

½ cup oil
2-3 Tbsp sugar
¼ cup vinegar
½ tsp soy sauce
half of ramen flavor packet

In a large bowl mix cabbage with crushed pieces of uncooked ramen noodles.  
In a small bowl mix oil, sugar, vinegar, flavor packet and soy sauce.  Pour
dressing over salad, add almonds, and toss.  

Turn this salad into a main dish by adding a can of drained chicken or tuna prior
to serving.
