La Paz and El Sargento
La Paz and El Sargento
September was about the same as August – hot weather in the La Paz area, house sitting
in El Sargento, physical therapy 3 times a week for Susie, and boat chores for Sam.
But we FINALLY took some pictures along the road we travel between El Sargento and La
Paz. Check the photo page for this month to see what we discovered.
Susie has achieved in her right knee approximately 100 degrees (maximum is 120
degrees) in the CPM machine at physical therapy. She is still having problems with small
open wounds, which may have to be corrected with minor surgery and stitches. Otherwise,
she is making good progress and has returned to normal functions for most every day
things – personal hygiene, house keeping, food preparation, social activities.
Sam supervised some carpentry and fiberglass work in the V-berth area. Hopefully that
work will be finished very soon, so he can get things put back together and put away.
We look forward to getting back on the boat approximately October 13.
